ITIMG Industrial Technical information managers group

The ITIMG is open for new members to join our active group of individuals who manage corporate libraries, information, or knowledge departments. Typical members have management responsibilities for their department staff, and they set the strategy for their function.

The general purpose of ITIMG is to improve the effectiveness of information management systems and services within manufacturing and technology industries. ITIMG is comprised of no more than 55 members from major corporations (Fortune 100). It was created in 1979 when a group of information leaders discovered similar challenges and opportunities related to the management of corporate library systems, content, literature research, and internal knowledge management.

ITIMG is an active community of corporate information managers that meets to discuss strategic topics and share best practices related to our profession and industries. We do this through sessions and presentations at each biennial meeting on timely subjects chosen by members, as well as benchmarking (formal and informal), sharing best practices and lessons learned and surveying our membership throughout the year.
